Wildlife Appeal

It is the wildlife we encounter on our fishing excursions that make our sport so enjoyable for the vast majority of our Members and although this relentless cold weather may have inconvenienced us and curtailed our fishing, for our wildlife it is devastating.
When the weather is so severe in the countryside many of our wild birds seek food and sanctuary in our gardens. Whilst we appreciate many of you already do so, we urge all our Members to make an extra effort to feed the birds in their gardens during this difficult period. Spring is not too far away and we all want to hear the sound of the birds singing when we go fishing again.
