Watersfield

We would like to make Members aware that there is a problem accessing the river through the railway arch as the
farmer has used steel fencing to stop his cattle getting to the river.
This is causing difficulty for some members because anglers now have to climb over this fence, creating a situation which is
neither safe nor satisfactory.
We have been in contact with the Landlords of this venue who have assured us they will resolve the situation in conjuction with the tenant farmer.
Meanwhile please be aware of the problem and don't take any unneccessary risks when trying to access the river. If you do decide to go to Watersfield please remember to ensure all the Gates are kept locked because of the livestock.
