~ THE GRANARY ~
Opening for the first time at the start of the 2011/12 season our new venue The Granary is a stunning looking water of approximately 2 acres set in peaceful farmland. It is located close to our Hurston Lane Fishery and although it is known to contain a good head of Carp up to 20lb and some Roach and Rudd it is going to be quite interesting to see what turns up during this first season because it hasn't been fished seriously for a number of years.
We would ask that members co-operate by filling in the catch report book that will be located at the venue. This is important as it will help us to build up a better picture of the stocking levels for future fishery management purposes. Of course if you have your camera with you we would also be delighted to have photographs of any fish you catch or any wildlife you see during your visits to The Granary.
